Lipoma Tumor operation and start of treatment

Dear Reader

I have heard very often ....." I came just back from my dermatologist...... and he had operated several LT........" The sizes of the LT was not mentioned, but when I read this, and that the doctor has done it in his praxis, I'm be always shocked, and with certain things, something is not proper reported.

Here in comparison a "true" situation. Right elbow with 2 LT one3.5cm x 1.5 cm and the second 5.5 cm x 4.2 cm typical for Fibro lipomas. The operation was done in a hospital by a general surgeon with long experiences of LT. The operation took 2 hours, and the wound, as you can see is 15 cm long. A drainage was installed on the end of the wound. The patient was discharged 2 days later, and so far 125 ml of wound secretion was collected.
Four days later when the patient changed the dressing, he had strong pain, a part of the arm was numb, and the elbow was swollen. The surgeon saw his patient on this day and soaked another 125 ml wound secretion out of the wound, which is normal. This is very important, because wound secretion will stop the healing process and can cause infections, and of course, reduces the pain.

The picture, made 6 days after the operation saw the stitches which will be taken out in 10 days is now without any dressing and be treated the second day with Emu Oil. The wound is closed and has lost the crust.  In 3-4 weeks the wound will be more and more shrinking in length and will be smaller.
New pictures will be published than. In particular, I will let you knew how the Australian Emu Oil will help.

It is quite common that a swelling and wound secretion will come up, even a haematoma of bruise can happen after an operation, but if that is under the control of a specialist, there will be no real big problems.

This report will give the readers real information about an operation and what the patient has to ask before. My advise over the long time is when it comes to such an operation with numbers and sizes, you should  request to stay in hospital for 2 days, have your drainage, and have a good after discharge control, because what I reported here is very common, because the LT are sometimes very difficult to be taken out, and why so oft we hear .........after my operation, I got new LT..... is the fact, that in the wound secretion very often very small parts of LT can be found.

On the 22. of July the surgeon had to suck another 150ml liquid out of the wound, otherwise the healing process could be stopped.  Around the wound no infection but a swelling from the elbow to the wrist could be seen, and pain along to the finger made the movement of the arm very uncomfortable

Now you can learn how the result between an Ultrasound test and the result of an operation can be . Remember: above the Ultrasound mentioned two LT with the size of 52x42x14 mm and 33x15x7 mm Nothing of this is true! So it is important to understand that an ultrasound test can only give a general overview of the eventual numbers of LT and their eventual sizes, which is in the first step very helpful.  The operation and the pathology report does say: 1 Angio-Lipoma with 120 x 75 x 30 mm was found and which for the section of an elbow is very big. Look at your elbow and measure it, than you will understand what was left inside, when you consider that there are bones as well?? The report from the ultra sound test said:  there is a 52x 42x14 mm and also a little bid deeper a 33 x 15 x 7 mm LY. We learn that even an Ultrasound test can us not provide exact information about the size of an LT or the number of LT. Now you can ask you yourself how accurate will be your testings?

It is not very common that a pathology report is published to inform the reader about the content and to give a understanding about a LT, I will do it. Here is the full pathology report from 14.07. 2015

Location: Right elbow. An encapsulated multilobed fatty mass which is  ........... mm. The cut face has a uniform pale tan appearance. Representative tissue processed in A1 to A4.

Microscopic and Conclusion:
Section show an Angiolipoma!

The Tumor is composed of nature adipocytes which are divided into lobules by fibrous septa. Within the lipoma, there are capillary fibrous stroma and in some areas, they are aggregated with associated fibrous stroma and lymphocyric infiltrate.

No atypical features are seen and there is no evidence of malignancy.

End of the report!!

Today more liquid was sucked out, and along side of the lower arm still movement problems and pain. Thanks to Emu Oil the wound getting better and better!

Angio Lipomas are mostly very painful!

Now, unfortunately this time the operation was not very successfully as a result of the deep and large hole in the elbow, a lot of fluid came together and the surgeon had to pump out a lot, so much, that he decided to cut the scare again to make sure that all of the liquid, half of eater half of blood could run out. It was a very unpredicted exercise for both, the surgeon and the patient. After the fight week of operation the liquid came slowly to and end, and the new scare could be closed in the hope that no further liquid will come into the hole and push the nerves which created a lot of pain.

Such unforseen things can happen, and this story tells you what can occur.

To continue this unusual report whilst it goes into the 6. week after operation, the building of every day  new liquid has stopped and the wound can start to heal again. Only the nerve alongside the lower arm to the fingers are making a few problems.

This report is a typical demonstration of a problem which can occur on a harmless LT operation, and should be taken as a possibility - not a must - how long and complicate the reaction afterwards can be

This photo was taken after some complications to empty the wound of secretions. General without daily treatment with Pure Australian Emu Oil the patient would not has such results of healing
