"After an operation, I got new Lipoma-Tumors.........."

This fact isn't new! This goes back in this early days when Lipomas were explored in 1884, because surgeons were not aware of the substances of LT and  nobody had really shown high interest or doing research, specially about the "body" of the LT, so it could happen, that minimal, very small parts of the LT left in the wound.

Today, I'm asked in my forum www.lipoma.forumieren.net always this question, and unfortunately, there are good reasons for that. The most "operations" aren't been done in a hospital, because the patient has not the cover or the health found/insurance is rejecting this proceeding. So a dermatologist is asked if he can help out.
When I then hear .... the doctor has taken several LT out...... I'm really be shocked!  We know how the praxis of a dermatologist is equipped! Most he is working without an assistant or a nurse, and therefore it is quite a risk by taking a LT out
, that a minimum of the LT "body" remains.

I wouldn't comment, when I had not made my own experiences by my first operation and the surgeon in the hospital, too. He had to learn that it is very easy to "loose" some of the body of the LT, and that is  already enough to re-grow.

In the praxis of a dermatologist you can't expect to get a "drainage" laid,, but it is so important to make sure that all "wound-secretion" can flow out in 2 -3 days , and the location is clear.

Of course, on the end it is today always a question of money!!! On the other hand, and that is the fact the patient should inform himself what is going on.

I can always repeat that after the first mistake was made, all my other 14 operations to remove 49 LT were done without any complications and I'm now FREE on LT since 11/2 years
